I’m Jaishree — a science teacher, a researcher and a mother navigating the beautiful, messy, sacred work of raising a child in today’s world.

I spent years studying the science of life under a microscope and teaching young minds to question everything. But when I became a mother, I found myself searching for something no textbook offered — a way to parent that honoured both what the research says and what the ancient wisdom knows.

MindfullyRaised was born from that search. It’s the home I wished had existed — a place where Sanatan Dharma and developmental science don’t compete, but complete each other. Where a mother can find both a research-backed parenting insight and a Vedic shloka that says the same thing, two thousand years apart.

I write from Abu Dhabi, where my mornings begin with Tulsi and chai, and my evenings end with stories of Dhruva and Prahlada. I am not a guru. I am a fellow traveller — curious, rooted, and learning every day alongside my child.
