Seven days of small connections.
One simple invitation each day. Repeat a favourite, skip a busy day or adapt the idea to your child. There is no perfect sequence to complete.

Day 1 · Notice
Spend a few quiet minutes noticing what your child chooses to do. Describe one thing without testing or correcting: “You put the blue block at the bottom.”
What caught their interest?
Day 2 · Listen
Invite a story about the day, or follow a younger child’s play. Ask one open question and allow a pause before speaking again.
What did I learn by listening?
Day 3 · Play
Let your child choose a simple shared activity. Agree on a manageable amount of time, then give it your attention.
What made us smile?
Day 4 · Appreciate
Name one specific act of effort or kindness you noticed. Invite your child to thank someone in a way that feels comfortable.
Who helped our family today?
Day 5 · Wonder
Compare two leaves, household objects or shadows. Ask what is similar and different. Sketch something new you noticed.
What question could we explore next?
Day 6 · Help together
Choose a small, safe task to share: arranging books, matching socks or setting out unbreakable cups. Make participation more important than speed.
What could we do together again?
Day 7 · Reflect
Share a favourite moment from the week. Choose one small ritual to keep. Let every family member offer an idea.
What should we keep, change or simplify?

Small is enough.
This is a collection of original activity prompts, not a treatment programme or a promise of particular outcomes. Choose activities that fit your child’s abilities, interests and safety needs.
